Titusville Police: 2 arrests made in fatal Milton Street shooting

Titusville Police have arrested two suspects in connection to a Jan. 5 shooting on Milton Street that left a Titusville man dead.

Lorenzo Jamal Bell, 30, was reportedly shot to death him front of home at 115 Milton Street.

Police say they have arrested William Jamar Smith, 30, and Joseph Eric Brown, 48, both of Cocoa. They are charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder, said a news release.

Smith was arrested in Orlando, while Brown was arrested in the Cocoa area and booked into Brevard County Jail.

Smith was taken to the hospital by an acquaintance, police say, after reportedly sustaining an unintentional gunshot wound as a result of the alleged shooting. He is still being hospitalized.
