A man has been arrested in connection to a triple shooting in Ocala early Monday night, police said.

Paul Boimageebah Jalieba is facing charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated battery with a firearm, according to Ocala Police.

Investigators said Jalieba was riding his bicycle in the 1800 block of SW 7th Place when he started an argument with Anthony Crim, who was in front of his home.

Jalieba then pulled out a gun and shot Crim in his legs and arm, along with bystander Johnny Coleman, who was working on a vehicle in a yard when the argument broke out and he was struck.

After the shooting, police said Jalieba ditched his bicycle and fled. He was stopped by two people in the 2000 block of SW 7th Street, where they held him until officers arrived.

Jalieba was also shot, but police do not know when or how.

All three men were in stable condition.

Dr. N.H. Jones Elementary was placed on lockdown during the investigation.
