A woman accused of stabbing two other women Sunday has been arrested, Palm Bay Police said.

Officers responded to reports of an armed disturbance at a residence on Monroe Street at 1 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found Jackielyn English, 48, outside the apartment, holding a large kitchen knife. English was taken into custody for questioning.

As officers entered the apartment, they found 47-year-old Nicole Rucker unresponsive. Police say Rucker had multiple stab wounds. She was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center, where she later died.

Dolores English, the sister of Jackielyn, was also injured in the stabbing, police said. She sustained lacerations to her hands.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
