The current number of people without power is 67,421, according to Florida Disaster. At last check, Florida Power and Light is still trying to restore power to around 44,230 customers across Florida as of Wednesday afternoon.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the state reported that power had been restored to all Duke Energy customers by 9 a.m. Wednesday.
However, Duke's numbers conflicted with the state's.
At 9 a.m., Duke Energy said 6,256 people were without power, including 1,393 still in Orange County, 541 in Lake County, 426 in Osceola County, 718 in Seminole County, 26 in Sumter County and 399 in Volusia County.
Duke has not released updated numbers yet.
