  • Second shooting near gas station in as many weeks

The Sunoco gas station on Columbia Avenue and Dyer Boulevard Tuesday was filled with investigators. Neighbors told News 13 the shooting happened on the sidewalk but that the victim walked over to the gas station for help.

According to the Kissimmee Police Department, the incident appears to be a road rage situation. The victim was taken to a local hospital, however their medical condition is not known.

About two weeks ago there was a shooting at the same station where two people were injured as well.

Resident Hilda Estrella said she comes out to the gas station almost everyday and that the whole thing has shaken her up.

"This is the second shooting in the same place. I am very scared. You can't even walk around here anymore,” she said in Spanish. “You have to go around this area. You just never know when there will be another shooting and one can get accidentally hurt."

Kissimmee Police said the victim was riding a bicycle and the shooter drove off in a dark-colored Honda Accord.

A witness showed News 13 video that they filmed during the incident. The video showed the victim walking away holding their stomach while two other individuals were helping take the victim’s bike.
