Disney World is honoring the toddler killed by an alligator more than a year ago at one of its resorts with a statue of a lighthouse near the site.

Disney put up the statue in memory of 2-year-old Lane Graves. The lighthouse is a symbol for the Lane Thomas Foundation.
The foundation was created after the death of Graves to support families of children who need life-saving organ transplants.
The statue sits behind the Grand Floridian resort. Lane was staying at the Grand Floridian Resort with his family when he was dragged by a gator into the Seven Seas Lagoon in June of last year.
His father chased after him, but was too late.
