An early-morning crash involving two motorcycles has left one rider dead and another rider injured near Interstate 4 in Deltona, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office stated on Tuesday morning.

At around 1:37 a.m., two motorcycles crashed near Enterprise Road and Deltona Boulevard, over the I-4. One of the riders was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford as a trauma alert, according to deputies.
Enterprise Road was shut down in both directions from Deltona Boulevard to Highbanks Road for several hours before it was reopened, deputies advised.
The names of the riders have not been released.
