With low pressure sticking around, unsettled weather will continue through the weekend. We’ll see a decent chance of rain each day through Sunday with temperatures around 90 degrees.
Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be warm and muggy, falling into the mid-70s.
Friday will be partly sunny during the morning and then mostly cloudy for the afternoon. There is a decent chance for showers and storms beginning around lunchtime and continuing through the afternoon and evening hours.
Humidity sticks around, but highs will only reach the upper 80s to low 90s. A similar forecast is expected through the weekend as an area of low pressure sticks around. This low will start to pull away from us early next week and rain chances will drop back to normal.

In the tropics, Harvey was able to strengthen quickly to a hurricane Thursday afternoon. This storm is in favorable enough conditions that it could intensify into a major hurricane before making landfall along the Texas coast late Friday and early Saturday.
Harvey will stall over Texas and Louisiana through the weekend, which will dump significant rainfall in amounts upward of 20 to even 30 inches. Closer to home, an area of low pressure over Florida will increase our rain chances through the weekend as it moves northeast into the Atlantic.
Once over the water, there is a medium chance it could develop into a tropical system. Regardless, the forecast for Florida will remain the same.
