Amy LeBlanc and her husband of just a few days were caught off-guard Tuesday during their Disney World honeymoon.

  • Disney World crews install fall and Halloween decor overnight
  • Fall leaves within garland around lamp posts made on-site
  • Hand-carved jack-o'-lanterns installed at eye level or above

"This is the first time I've gotten to see this decor, and I know it wasn't like this yesterday," LeBlanc gasped.

"It's amazing the work that went into this overnight," her husband, Josh, added.

We’re the first TV crew to show you fall decor installed while you were sleeping Monday night. Holiday Services Manager Lisa Borotkanics brought out a team of 40 decorators.

"That's just our team," she emphasized. "There are at least five other teams that are out here installing their portion as well."

The teams are heading back out Tuesday night at about 10 p.m., after guests leave.

We learned a few fun facts during our visit Tuesday morning. For instance, from Town Square all the way to Fantasyland are 100 lamp posts decorated with 207 custom-made Mickey jack-o'-lanterns.

The fall leaves within the garland and wreaths were made on-site.

"We have a warehouse behind the Magic Kingdom," she told us. "We coat them and we put them outside. We do a little process of sealing them so that we can get some longevity in the Florida sun."

If you're counting, guests will find 45 fiberglass pumpkins in 14-inch and 24-inch sizes. Hand-carved jack-o'-lanterns are at eye-level and above.

"I would 'guesstimate' that there's over a couple hundred," Borotkanics said.

In fact, there's so much stuff, you can imagine what it takes to haul in the materials — just for her team alone.

"We have four 53-foot semis filled with Halloween decor," she smiled.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party debuts this Friday evening. It runs through Nov. 1.
