Even though it’s August, it’s not too early to get excited about all the Halloween-related events coming to the theme parks.

In Case You Missed It:

  • Earlier this week, Universal announced that “Saw” was returning to Halloween Horror Nights. The haunted maze will feature traps set by Jigsaw.

  • Speaking of Halloween Horror Nights, Universal also revealed the five scare zones guests will encounter at this year’s event.

  • Disney World passholders can now buy discounted tickets for their friends and family. But hurry, the offer is only available through Sept. 30.

  • Legoland Florida is also offering a discount on tickets. You can save up to $30 off one-day park tickets or one-day park plus water park tickets if purchased online in advance.

  • SeaWorld Orlando has filed a trademark that hints at a new attraction. The filing is for “Ray Rush” and says it is for the use of “entertainment in the natures of an amusement park ride."

  • Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a new name. The area will become Grand Park. Muppet Vision 3D and the surrounding restaurants and shops will remain.
