One man's name has been cleared and another man arrested in connection with the explosion inside a McDonald’s bathroom in Orange County in July.

Kenneth Capo, 55, faces two charges of discharging explosive devices on two separate occasions, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said. He was arrested Tuesday night and taken to the Orange County Jail.

Capo was arrested two different times by the Sheriff's Office. The first time he was arrested. he walked out of jail after posting bond. But he was arrested again on a second charge.

Sheriff's investigators think Capo is also responsible for another explosion outside of a store in the Orlando area. Authorities say the first explosion happened on Sunday, July 16, at the front door of the Advance Auto Parts store on Clarcona Ocoee Road. The second explosion happened Sunday, July 30, at the McDonald's in Lockhart, near North Pine Hills Road.

The McDonald's explosion caused significant damage to the inside of the men’s bathroom. No one was injured, although there were about a dozen people, including children, who were inside the restaurant when the device went off. First responders quickly evacuated everyone.

Deputies have not yet said what they think was the suspect’s motive in both incidents.

The Sheriff’s Office had originally arrested another man, Jason David, who they thought was responsible for the McDonald's explosion. However, the 35-year-old man has been cleared.

Capo is expected to face a judge Wednesday afternoon.
