Original Report: A Silver Alert has been issued for a 71-year-old man out of Lake County.
The sheriff's office is searching for Daniel Lynn Tice who suffers from dementia and appeared to be in a confused state upon last contact by phone.
Tice is 6ft and 200 lbs with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white V-neck t-shirt, beige shorts, black shoes, and black framed sunglasses.
Officials said Tice left his home on East Bay Avenue in Yalaha in a blue dodge truck with a grey topper bearing Florida tag 0554JV around 4 p.m. on July 7.
He is possibly headed toward the Sanford or Orlando area.
Officials ask anyone with information on Tice's whereabouts to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office at 352-343-9534.
