Our sky clears overnight with another warm and muggy night in store. A southerly flow Thursday will tap more moisture and provide us a higher rain chance, before we drag in slightly drier air for Friday and Saturday and lower rain chances to 30 percent. Highs stay in the low to mid 90s.
In the tropics, an area of low pressure southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands runs a low chance of becoming something tropical.
No change in the surfcast for the next couple days, with a minor east-southeast trade swell and wave heights to knee high creating for surfing conditions.
As you’re heading into the waters to cool off, keep in mind we’ll still have a moderate rip current threat the rest of this week. Sea surface temps are in the upper 70s to lower 80s now along our east coast.
