A vehicle fire cause a brush fire at a Daytona Beach golf course Thursday, the Fire Department said.

The incident happened at the LPGA Golf Course near the 16th hole.
An employee for a private company was treating the course for mosquitoes when his truck got stuck in the mud, firefighters said. A fire started as the man tried to free his truck from the mud. The fire from the truck sparked a brush fire, according to firefighters.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the truck fire and contain the brush fire.
The man was not injured.
