Strong showers and storms Tuesday afternoon brought frequent lightning and gusty wind so strong that a tree in Orlando's Delaney Park caused damage to multiple vehicles.

As the huge tree fell, pieces of it hit three vehicles that were parked in Madeline Moran's home. A Nissan SUV, Jaguar and Maserati were all hit.

Unfortunately for the Moran family, this was not the first time it happened.

Moran has been living in the Central Florida area for 20 years. She said a couple of years ago, a piece of the same tree landed on one of her cars.

This time, her vehicle, her husband's and her mother-in-law's all were wrecked by the storm.

Moran said she heard a very loud crunch, and a piece of the tree came crashing down.

Although no one was hurt, Moran is disappointed. She thinks the city's arborist department could have taken down the tree before something like this happened. Now, she thinks the city should help take care of the issue.

"We have a tree that's a problem. ... We are not OK with it," Moran added. "Everyone makes mistakes, but it's costing us a lot of money, and I have no car. My car is totaled."

A city of Orlando spokesperson said that because city hall was closed Tuesday night, it will look into it Wednesday.
