“As a business, we have always prided ourselves on getting to know and being involved in our local neighborhoods, and we will continue to honor the victims through acts of kindness and support whenever we can,” said Ashlea Hopper, the general manager of the Winter Park store.
About 900 pounds of rainbow-colored dough is being made for bagels to be sold Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The money raised goes to the Central Florida Foundation’s Better Together Fund.
So far, the fund has raised money that has gone to everything from a school coordinator to provide safe and equal treatment of LGBTQ students, to scholarships, to money for rent, utilities and mental health services for Pulse victims and their families.
