Two people were killed in a crash Tuesday that was so bad it split a car in half.

The crash happened on Semoran Boulevard and Hanging Moss Road around 8:10 p.m., near the Wal-Mart.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash.
One car tried to turn off Semoran Boulevard and turned directly into the path of another car. The second car hit the right side of the first, which split in half.
Two men in the first care pronounced dead at Winter Park Hospital. A 37-year-old woman from Sanford was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Three other passengers in the second vehicle have minor injuries.
The northbound lanes of Semoran Boulevard were blocked for several hours Tuesday night.
