An 18-year-old Rockledge man has been arrested and charged for a drive-by shooting Saturday in Brevard County.

Joshua Joseph Rodriquez, 18, is charged with attempted murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle.
The shooting occurred in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue, Merritt Island.
Deputies responded to the scene in reference to reports of a man being shot in a drive-by shooting.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses told deputies that the suspect fled the scene in a maroon Nissan SUV.
East Precinct deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
Rodriguez was identified as the shooter and arrested.
Deputies also found a .380 handgun inside the vehicle.
Officials also said the shooting appeared to be in retaliation for a previous shooting in Cocoa due to statements made.
