Here's the Central Florida weather forecast for the upcoming weekend:

We had a very warm and sunny Thursday with very few isolated showers and storms; temperatures were in the low 90s. Showers and storms will continue to taper off after sunset leaving us with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures in the mid to low 70s.

For your Friday, rain chances will be minimal. As we approach daybreak, conditions will remain muggy with a mix of sun and clouds before temperatures climb into the mid to upper 90s.

With southerly flow over the last several days along with the great amount of moisture in the atmosphere being sent our way from Cindy, our rain chances were on the higher end. Over the next few days as dry air continues to settle over top of us, our rain chances will be minimal and we will see plenty of sunshine.

There is a 20 percent chance of an isolated shower or storm inland due to the interior sea breeze boundary collision but we can expect mostly sunny skies across the majority of the area.

Conditions are quiet now in the tropics with no formation expected over the next several days. Bret has become no more as it moved through a hostile environment with wind shear that weakened the system. Cindy has also become no more and downgraded to a depression as it made landfall over the gulf coast in Louisiana and got torn apart due to wind shear and dry air aloft. Conditions are quiet now in the tropics with no formation expected over the next several days.

For surfers, conditions will be poor to fair with wave heights up to 2 feet and a small ESE tradeswell. If you plan on heading out to the beaches, rain chances will be lower and the water temperatures will be warmer in the upper 70s! There is a moderate risk for rip currents so be sure to stay near a lifeguard and don't forget the sunscreen!
