Authorities on Thursday also released the names of two persons of interest -- 23-year-old Shaftney McMullen Jr., aka Devonte Wright, and 20-year-old Amber Weaver.

Police say they both have ties to South Lake County and are known to frequent the areas of Clermont, Groveland, Mascotte and Stuckey.

"There are several things, we have questions in the case and we're hoping these individuals can help answer those questions," said Sgt. Malcolm Draper with the Clermont Police Department.

Clermont Police officers responded during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 11, to the 1000 block of Disston Avenue.

Ronald Stedelin, 30, suffered a single gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Someone who lives nearby discovered Stedelin on the ground behind his vehicle in the apartment complex at about 2:30 a.m.

The victim's fiancé, Lina Mirsalim, says Stedelin went with a friend to pick up his bike at the Kmart. She expected him to come home shortly after that, but says he never did.

"He's a loving person, he's a good hearted person. He would do anything and everything for anybody," she said.

Stedelin not only leaves behind a fiancé, but also a brother, two sisters and an 8-year-old daughter.

"He was a father and a son and a fiancé and a grandson and an uncle he meant a great deal to his family," said the victims' stepmother, Debbie Stedelin.
