The "Frozen" fanatics in your family have a special way to cool off this summer.

The Frozen Summer Games at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park are happening right now.

"I kicked everyone's butt!" said little Davis Winters of Georgia.

The "Games" are a friendly rivalry between Team Olaf and Team Kristoff. Guests can choose their favorite by sporting respective wristbands.

"[My kids] heard that the Games were coming [while] in the Lazy River, and they jumped out of the Lazy River to come have fun with it!" mom Kim Winters of Georgia, told us.

So what kind of interactivity is there?

"Just anything that you can imagine," said Andrea Wolowitz, marketing strategy manager. "They're pop-up races."

These include:

  • Ice Pail Relays where teams line up and pass pails of water to one another, trying to be the first to fill a container at the end.
  • A “Snowball” Toss where pairs compete in a snow-themed water balloon toss.
  • Ski Pole Limbo, a snowy twist on traditional limbo using a ski pole as the limbo bar.
  • Slide Races that allow teams to race down one of the signature water slides at Blizzard Beach.

Elizabeth Hanes of New Hampshire said the Games are best suitable for kids older than 3.

"He kept popping the balloons," she said of her littlest competitor. "But it looked like a lot of fun for the bigger kids."

Guests can meet Olaf and Kristoff at their designated character meet-and-greet spot throughout the day. A DJ will also spin jams throughout the Games and give updates.

Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Frozen Summer Games are included with park admission.
