The "Find my iPad" app helped Volusia County Sheriff's Office deputies locate a man they say is accused of stealing a tablet and robbing a house.

Before 4 p.m. on Sunday, a man approached Raymond Ingberg at a Deltona Publix and offered to buy him food. The man went into the grocery store on Elkcam Boulevard, but left his iPad mini on the sidewalk next to Ingberg by mistake, but when he returned, both Ingberg and the tablet were gone, according to deputies.
However, the man used the "Find my iPad" app and it sent him to a house on Covington Drive, where deputies were alerted. When deputies spoke to the person at the home, the resident told authorities that the 28-year-old Ingberg did stop by and asked if he could keep the tablet at the house, officials stated.
As deputies were at the house, they spotted Ingberg walked down the street and they stopped to speak with him. As they were talking with Ingberg, they were alerted that a house on Otis Avenue was broken into and the homeowner's five guns, jewelry, electronics and white Jordan sneakers were taken.
The deputies noticed that Ingberg was wearing a pair of white Jordan sneakers and after further inquiry, Ingberg led them to a wooded area where he showed them a duffle bag with the stolen items from the Otis Avenue home, officials stated.
Ingberg has been charged with armed burglary, two counts of grand theft and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail on $55,000 bail.
