The wet season is here, and it's greatly helped with the fire danger and those brown yards.

But even with some of the storms dumping 1 to 3 inches of rain on some people, we still need plenty more rain to get out of our yearly deficit.

Here are some of the yearly rainfall numbers at the end of last week.

  • Orlando: 10.5”,  -7.58”
  • Melbourne: 12.59”,  -3.93”
  • Daytona Beach: 11.97”,  -5.73
  • Sanford: 12.88”,  -5.41”
  • Titusville: 17.09”,  -1.08”

So we're catching up fast, but watch out for the storms over the next week or so. Minor flooding has been a big problem. Always turn on your head lights when you turn on the wipers and never drive through a flood area.
