Two people were shot at The Breeze, a local bar at 5 West Myers Blvd., and the suspected gunman is still on the loose, a deputy with the sheriff's office told News 13.

The two people who were shot were rushed to the hospital and their condition is not known, the deputy said.

Manase Latu, owner of The Breeze, described what he saw happen on his surveillance tape.

"The guy that they were trying to get rid of kept trying to push his way back in. In fact, the bartender, he was trying to push was a lady, and the other guy was just trying to help," Latu told News 13.

A dozen patrol cars from the Lake County Sheriff’s and the Mascotte Police Department can be seen as law enforcement officers are gathering evidence and talking to witnesses.

News 13 observed clothes in the middle of the parking lot that could belong to one of the victims.
