Orlando's waterparks are in the spotlight this summer. Don’t want to leave? How would you like to spend the night?

With its waterfalls, rocks emitting steam, lush landscaping, water slide and lazy river, you may think this is a new water park.

This park’s size is smaller when compared to the likes of Volcano Bay and Typhoon Lagoon. Yet for Tyler Kane from Largo, he’s content to beat the heat right here.

"Just floating around in it and getting sprayed by the jets and stuff," Tyler said.

Tyler says he wouldn't want to be anywhere else with his dad for the first weekend of summer.

"It's the perfect atmosphere for a staycation in Florida,” said Tyler’s dad, Travis.

Although this looks like a new water park, it's actually the pool at the Hilton Orlando Resort, a place Travis Kane says they visit three times a year.

In the shadows of SeaWorld comes a water park that caters to summer visitors who don't want the crowds, rather want to create memories.

"My grandfather brought me here [to Florida] every year for years when I was a kid,” Travis shared. “We used to go to Longboat Key to the Holidome. It wasn't as nice as this, but it was similar, so doing this now with him is a great feeling."

The feeling of excitement starts on the multi-story waterslide, along with chillaxing along the lazy river compete with water geysers. The main pool is zero-entry, so little ones can walk right in without steps.

Pool floats of all kinds are welcome.

"It's a true oasis,” said Chris Mueller, the new general manager at the Hilton Orlando. "It's a paradise to relax, get away and forget about life.”

For adults looking for a quiet escape, the adult pool has a South Beach vibe, complete with private cabanas featuring a wet bar, flat screen TV and comfortable sofas. There’s also a private spa. Behind it, find the putting green.

"Time well spent together with no work, no stress with nothing but fun,” Travis said. "We'll remember all of that."

Note: The pool area is for hotel guests only.
