The woman said the 16-year-old picked her up, dropped her and then dragged her into the pool at Players Place apartments near Fort Lauderdale.

The incident occurred Saturday, and the Broward County Sheriff's Office said the teen confessed and turned himself in Monday.

Video of the incident has been posted on several social media sites.

It happened when the woman said she was trying to get a large group to turn down music after several complaints from residents about a party.

In a news release, the Sheriff's Office said the boy faces one count of battery on a person 65 years of age or older.

News 13 also got a copy of the arrest report that explains the woman is a board member and looks after the pool.

The report says she was with her two dogs who got scared and ran away but were later found in the neighborhood.

She ended up with bruises but is otherwise OK.

Authorities said a neighbor identified the teen who they say confessed to the crime while with his mother and attorney saying, "I messed up, and I have to own up to it."
