Happy Friday! Here's the Central Florida weather forecast for the evening and the upcoming weekend:
- Showers and storms possible Saturday, Sunday afternoons
- Increased rain chances for next workweek

We had another hot and humid day to round out our work week with highs Friday afternoon around 90 degrees. We did see a few showers and storms develop through the afternoon and into the evening as the east coast sea breeze moved west. With moisture sticking around, afternoon showers and storms will be possible each day this weekend.
Partly cloudy skies will continue through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be warm, dropping only into the mid to upper 70s. If heading out early, watch for some areas of dense fog.

Partly sunny skies will continue Saturday with a few showers and storms possible during the afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the low 90s inland and in the upper 80s along the east coast. Sunday will be very similar with hot temperatures and afternoon storms. Early next work week, a front moving closer will spark an even higher potential for rain. This system may help to lower temperatures slightly by mid-week.
