A 39-year-old man was killed Friday night in single-vehicle crash in Volusia County.
Troopers said his 3-year-old son was also in the car when it crashed.
The crashed occurred around 7:45 p.m. at SR 40 and Pinto Lane.
Troopers said Jamar Fox, 39, was traveling westbound on SR 40 when for an unknown reason the vehicle drifted off onto the north shoulder.
Troopers said Fox overcorrected and caused the vehicle to overturn, ejecting both Fox and his 3-year-old son Jamar Fox Jr.
Fox died from his injuries and his son only received minor injuries.
According to the report, Fox and his son were not wearing a seat belt.
Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.
