  • Private jet charter company compiled top 10 list
  • MLB was only US airport to make company's list

PrivateFly recently named the Space Coast airport No. 8 in the top 10 "Most Scenic Landings of 2017."

It was the only United States airport to make the company's list.

Orlando-Melbourne airport leaders tout the view passengers can see on approach, such as the Kennedy Space Center launch pads, cruise ships at Port Canaveral and 70 miles of sandy beaches.

MLB was chosen by a panel of experts from the aviation and travel fields.

MLB shares the limelight with airports across the globe, including the Dutch Caribbean island of Saba’s Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport (SAB) (No. 1 on the list) and the United Kingdom's London City Airport (LCY) (No. 6).

Side by side with MLB on the list is the Caribbean’s St. Maarten Airport (SXM) (No. 7), famous for its adrenaline-filled low approaches over Maho Beach. Also cited was Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) (No. 10), linked to MLB with seasonal nonstop service via Porter Airlines.
