Noor Salman, the wife of Omar Mateen, was expected to be moved to Florida by the U.S. Marshals Service. The Sheriff's Office confirmed that she was transferred into the U.S. Marshals Service's custody Thursday morning.

Salman is charged with aiding and abetting and obstruction of justice.

According to court documents, Salman was scheduled to appear in a California court on Monday for a hearing to fight her transfer to Florida.

However, she waived her right to that hearing and was transferred to Orlando to face trial.

Last month, a federal judge in California reversed a decision to release her on bond. She has been in custody since being arrested in January.

Mateen killed 49 people and wounded more than 50 during a terror attack on June 2016.
