The Kissimmee Police Department is asking for the public's help to locate a man wanted for attempted murder following a Tuesday night shooting.

  • Holmes is considered armed and dangerous, police said

Kissimmee Police responded at about 11 p.m. Tuesday to the area of 1804 Bay St. in reference to a shooting.

An adult male victim told police that he began arguing with Errick Holmes Jr. During the argument, Holmes reportedly shot the man with a rifle, police said.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Holmes is wanted on various charges, including attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Holmes also has an active warrant for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of narcotics from an incident that occurred April 20 in the same area of Tuesday night's shooting, police said.

Holmes is considered armed and dangerous.
