Shawn Greaves is accused of picking up a female teacher, forcing her into a closet and touching her inappropriately in a classroom not during school hours. He's a reading teacher at Parkway Middle School and a pastor at Faith Family Outreach Ministries in Kissimmee.

David Horton said he has received food from Greaves' church in the past and recalls them as helpful in the community.

“Well, I have to say one word: shocked,” Horton said.

An Osceola County Sheriff's Office report said another teacher witnessed the incident. According to the report, Greaves pressed his body against her and began humping her three to four times. The woman pushed him away while yelling, "put me down,” “get your hands off me” and “let go of me.”

The woman's husband called 911.

“Out of the blue, the male teacher went and grabbed my wife. He grabbed her a** and carried her to the closet,” the husband said in a 911 call.

Several residents in the neighborhood near the church said the alleged behavior is very out of character for the man they call their pastor.

“This church and pastor in the last two years -- I’ve seen hundreds of families fed,” said Josephina Johnson, who attends Faith Family Church.

“All I see is a good man, a good father, a good teacher, a good pastor,” Johnson said.

Greaves faces charges of kidnapping and battery. The Osceola County School District said Greaves has not returned to Parkway Middle since the incident, and he has been reassigned out of the school at this time.

“They have a black smudge now on that church, and people are not going to go there,” Horton said.
