A man is now charged with DUI manslaughter in connection with a deadly February hit and run in Rockledge.

  • Christopher Holton struck, killed while riding bike Feb. 6
  • Witnesses reported seeing motorist driving wrong way on US 1
  • Dylan Pasik cooperated with police during investigation, cops say

Investigators say 25-year-old Dylan Pasik was driving drunk on Barnes Boulevard just after midnight Feb. 6.

That's when they say he sped away after he struck and killed 38-year-old Christopher Holton as he was riding his bicycle.

Witnesses told investigators that they spotted Pasik driving the wrong way on nearby U.S. 1 with a blown tire and smoking engine.

Rockledge Police said Pasik was caught and brought back to the scene of the crash and cooperated with them during the investigation. They say he had alcohol, cocaine and marijuana in his system.

Pasik faces charges of DUI manslaughter and is being held at the Brevard County Jail.
