Here's the Central Florida weather forecast for the rest of the workweek:

  • Mostly clear skies during overnight hours
  • Areas of fog could impact morning commute
  • Thursday temperatures will be near 90
  • SEE BELOW: See our 7-day forecast

Areas of dense fog early Wednesday morning for parts of Central Florida.

This fog burned off quickly, leaving us with plenty of sunshine for the afternoon. Temperatures warmed quickly, with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s and even some 90 degrees. Hot temperatures will continue for the next several days with not much relief in sight.

Our next chance for rain will occur with a slight chance on Friday.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be mild, dropping only into the mid 60s. Once again, we're looking at a chance for areas of fog. This fog could be dense in spots and slow down your morning commute.

Thursday will remain dry with sunny skies. The sunshine, along with winds out of the south, will allow for temperatures to warm to near 90 degrees. This is well above average for this time of year. We may drop back 1-2 degrees on Friday as a front drops south.

This front is weak and will only bring a slight chance for a few showers and thunderstorms. The weekend will stay hot and dry, but rain chances are expected to pick up early next week.

Surf conditions for Thursday look good, but watch for a moderate rip current risk. As winds start to pick up during the afternoon, there may also be a bit of a chop on the water.
