The Orlando Police Department is looking for a suspected gunman after a shooting was reported in the parking lot of a Publix store in Orlando.

The incident happened at about 7 p.m. in the parking lot of a Publix located at 4042 S. Semoran Blvd.

The suspect, who is described as a male in his early 20s with dreadlock-style hair and a stock build, shot another male while inside a vehicle.

The suspect then exited the vehicle and ran away from the scene, police said.

The victim, a 19-year-old man, then drove to a nearby IHOP restaurant, where police were called.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition with two gunshot wounds, police said.

Authorities continue to search for the suspect. The shooting may be drug-related, according to the preliminary investigation.
