Miss Adventure Falls, the new raft ride at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, officially opened Sunday.
Ahead of the opening, Disney released a first-look video and few promotional photos of the attraction.
One photo shows the conveyor belt that will take guests to the top of the ride.
The backstory is of Captain Mary Oceaneer, a treasure hunter whose collection and ship now reside at the lagoon after a storm swept them to shore.
Miss Adventure Falls is the first attraction at a Disney water park to feature an audio animatronic—Duncan, Captain Mary’s parrot.
Prior to today, Typhoon Lagoon had been closed for refurbishment.
The water park offers other attractions, including Crush ‘n’ Gusher, a water coaster; Ketchakiddee Creek, a water playground for children, and Castaway Creek, a 2,000-foot-long lazy river.
