The Orlando Police Department is investigating a hit and run early Saturday morning.

Police said a pedestrian was hit on Orange Blossom Trail around 3 a.m.
They said the pedestrian was hit in the middle of the road and the driver took off.
The person hit was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
Part of Orange Blossom Trail was temporarily shut down this morning.
Police are currently looking for the driver involved in the hit and run.
