Two people were injured Saturday night in Daytona Beach after their motorcycle was pinned between two vehicles.

Officials said a vehicle was traveling northbound on Halifax Avenue towards Main Street when it rear-ended two motorcycles that were stopped at a red traffic light.

The vehicle continued through the intersection without stopping, impacting another motorcyclist, a pedestrian, and two other vehicles before coming to a stop.

Two people on a trike motorcycle suffered serious leg injuries and were transported to Halifax Hospital as trauma alerts and are now in stable condition.

The pedestrian was treated on scene and refused to go to the hospital.

Officials said the driver showed no signs of impairment and may have suffered from a medical condition.

There are no criminal charges at this time.
