A 43-year-old woman died Friday morning after she was struck while walking along the road near Maitland, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At about 5:47 a.m., Tiffany Ervin-Aquin, 31, of Orlando, was traveling north on Forest City road approaching the intersection of Maitland Boulevard.
Amy Seeley, of Orlando, was walking in an unknown direction when the front of Ervin-Aquin’s Honda Pilot struck the woman.
Seeley was taken to Florida Hospital Altamonte, where she died, troopers said.
Ervin-Aquin, who is pregnant, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Florida Hospital South as a precaution, a report states.
The crash remains under investigation.
