Knights, lords and ladies have taken over Melbourne for the weekend.
- Brevard Renaissance Fair: Feb. 3-5
- Wickham Park transformed into the world of King Arthur
- Enjoy jousting, street performers and music
The Brevard Renaissance Fair transports you to a time of chivalry, romance and adventure.
This year, it features the historical work Sir Thomas Malory’s “Le Morte d’Arthur, recreating the legend of King Arthur.
Cheer on a knight at the joust arena, marvel at street performers or watch a blacksmithing demonstration.
“It’s awesome,” said Kyle Brown, who attended the fair. “We’ve been to Medieval Times, but this is a lot more wide open and a lot more different stuff going on. We got a little bit closer to the jousting.”
Brevard’s Renaissance Fair is held at the Wickham Park Amphitheater now through Feb. 5.
General admission is $15 for adults, $7 for children ages 5-11 and free for children ages 5 and under.
