Here's the Central Florida weather forecast for the workweek ahead:

  • Hot and muggy days in the forecast
  • 20% chance of rain Tuesday, Wednesday
  • A front sweeps through the area Thursday
  • SEE BELOW: See our 7-day forecast

Temperatures started out our work week unseasonably warm with highs in the mid-80s inland and around 80 degrees along the coast. We had partly sunny skies through the afternoon as southeasterly winds pushed a little bit of moisture inland. This moisture also caused a few sprinkles from time to time. Our Tuesday forecast will be very similar.

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will not be as cool as previous nights, dropping only into the mid-60s. As you head out the door early Tuesday, watch for some areas of dense fog.

We’ll be staying unseasonably warm, and near record breaking, the next couple of days with highs approaching 90 degrees inland and in the low 80s along the coast. Aside from an isolated shower, Central Florida will be pretty dry through mid-week.

We do have a slightly higher chance for rain Thursday as a cold front approaches. This front will drop temperatures back into the mid to low 70s to end the work week and start the weekend.

Winds along the coast will stay breezy Tuesday, allowing for a bit of a chop on the water. There will also continue to be a moderate rip current risk.
