You'd think singing on national television would make any other gig feel puny, especially in your hometown.

Not for "The Voice's" Christian Cuevas.

"When I got the message asking if I wanted to open for Gavin DeGraw and Johnnyswin -- like people that I've listened to my whole life -- I'm like, Come on!" laughed the Season 11 semifinalist. "I'm back home. I feel so blessed."

Cuevas is one of the musical acts at the 9th annual Downtown Food & Wine Fest, happening this weekend at Lake Eola. Thirty premier restaurants are dishing up nearly 100 menu items and 50 kinds of wine.

"I'm just getting into wine now," Cuevas said during our visit to Marlow's Tavern in Winter Park. "My fiancé's family's really into it, but I do like a light beer sometimes."

Cuevas, 21, wrapped up his tour this week and flew in just in time for his set.

"This set is going to have some songs from [The Voice] that we all heard and that everybody loves," he told us. "Also, some originals that I've been working on."

Cuevas' set will last about 45 minutes. It starts at 4:45 p.m.
