Power has been restored to about 1,700 Duke Energy customers who were without power in the Conway and Edgewood areas of Orlando early Thursday morning.
The outage was first reported just after 1 a.m. Duke Energy has stated that damaged equipment may be to blame.
"(The) outage caused by fallen trees or limbs damaging our equip," Duke stated in a message on its power outage map.
