SeaWorld Entertainment saw a dip in attendance and revenue in 2016, according to a preliminary financial report the company released Tuesday.

The company’s theme parks welcomed approximately 22 million visitors last year, compared to 22.47 million in 2015.

SeaWorld also expects revenue to be down, reporting $1.344 billion in 2016 compared to $1.37 billion the previous year.

The company has struggled in recent years to recover from public backlash following the release of the documentary “Blackfish,” which accused the park of neglecting and abusing its captive orcas.

Last summer SeaWorld reported attendance declines at its Florida parks. The company attributed the dip to an overall decrease in visitors from Latin America

Orlando-based SeaWorld is expected to release a full earnings report to investors on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
