The company will launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center for a resupply mission to the International Space Station.

The mission marks only the second time it will attempt a landing at the Air Force Station, the first being a nighttime landing in December 2015.

The launch will take place from historic pad 39A, which has not seen a launch since space shuttle Atlantis lifted off from there in 2011. The launch window opens at 10:01 a.m., and the landing is expected to be about 9 minutes later.

Viewers on the Space Coast should expect to hear a sonic boom.
