After some morning fog, Friday was a sun-filled afternoon with temps in the 70s and 80s.

  • Saturday highs at 81 degrees
  • Fog expected in morning forecast
  • Christmas Day to be cooler

It took a while to burn the fog off, which caused a slow warm up. Once it did though, temperatures were able to climb to around 80 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

We’ll keep fog in the forecast for the next couple of mornings, but mostly sunny skies for the afternoon.

Highs stay unseasonably warm, but a front moving in Sunday night will bring cooler temperatures for Christmas.

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Areas of dense fog will develop as we head toward daybreak on Saturday. Temperatures will fall to around 60 degrees.

Fog will stick around for Saturday morning, but burn off and allow for a partly sunny afternoon. Once the suns comes out, temperatures will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s.

A similar forecast is in store for Sunday before a front moves in Sunday night. This front may bring a sprinkle or two, but most will remain dry.

It will, however, bring more seasonable temperatures. Highs on Christmas will be in the low 70s. Already warming back up for Tuesday.

If you’re heading to the beach on this warm, holiday weekend, conditions look pretty good. Poor to fair surf conditions with a low rip current risk.
