It was a cooler Saturday across Central Florida, and the cool temps will continue for the overnight.

Expect mostly clear to partly cloudy skies across the area with overnight lows in the mid to upper 50s. Some isolated areas of patchy fog will also be possible around daybreak.

Warmer weather is still on track for Sunday. Plenty of sunshine is anticipated, with slightly more cloud cover along the coast. Highs for Sunday will  push back into the upper 70s.

Even more warmth is on track for next week. Mostly sunny skies will continue both Monday and Tuesday, with highs pushing into the low 80s.

Boaters will again find good conditions on Sunday, with seas only 1-2 feet and an easterly wind at 5-10 knots. Surfers will have very poor conditions with just a light easterly swell. The rip current threat will remain low for Sunday, with water temps in the mid to upper 60s.

Wednesday also looks warm, with sun and temps holding in the low 80s.

Our next cold front arrives on Thursday, which will bring more clouds and possibly a few showers. Expect partly cloudy skies and temps in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Slightly cooler air will move in behind the front, resulting in mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s Friday.

Right now, Christmas Weekend looks warm and pleasant. We’ll see partly cloudy skies for Saturday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Temps will likely return to the low 80s.
