Florida Fish and Wildlife officials say they haven’t had a recent spike in complaints, but they have an ongoing campaign to educate homeowners about the possible dangers they need to be aware of.

A Spectrum News 13 viewer shared home surveillance video that shows several coyotes walking through his property in Sanford earlier this month.

Homeowners in the Sanford and Geneva areas have reported farm animals and even dogs and cats killed by the wild animals.

One homeowner in Geneva said she’s noticed coyotes on her property.

“The coyotes are the biggest threat to the natural wildlife or your small pets. So when we see it, we just like to let everybody know so they can be aware of it,” said Debbie Ebel.
