The Orlando Police Department continues to search for clues after a 19-year-old was shot and killed outside of an apartment complex on Thursday evening.

Investigators have identified Robert S. Centeno as the man who was found shot to death outside of the apartment complex.

Authorities arrived around 7:18 p.m. at Venetian Place Apartments on 4528 Commander Drive, right off of Semoran Boulevard.

The shooting allegedly happened from a vehicle that looked like a black Honda.

A neighbor says she heard the whole thing happen.

"I heard three shots and I thought it was fireworks," said a visibly upset Daryelis Cabado.

Cabado says after she heard the gunshots she immediately grabbed her 4-year-old son and ran to the bathroom to hide for cover.

"I was with my little one and then I hear in two seconds someone was crying or screaming, then I hear six or seven more (gunshots), so it was bad," she described.

Cabado says after a short while, she did attempt to see if everything was OK. But when she ran outside, police officers were already on the scene.

"It could have been me, or my son, they just shot him. They don't think," she said.

The shooting now has her really shaken up. She told Spectrum News 13 the man was found in an area where children play basketball together and after two years of living here, she is ready to leave.

Investigators say this is an active case and that they're searching for several suspects.
