High pressure in southern Florida swung our wind around from a more west to southwest direction today, and ushered in seasonable highs in the lower 70s.

  • Friday to see highs in low-mid 70s
  • Warmer stretch ahead
  • Not much rain on the way

Although we’ve had a few more clouds drift in, the lower levels of the atmosphere remain very dry.

The clouds will hang around some neighborhoods tonight, and will help to keep temps considerably warmer than what we woke up with this morning.

We’ll enjoy a mild Friday with a sun and cloud mix, and highs in the low to mid-70s.

A weak cool front sweeps by Friday night, but highs Saturday are still expected to reach the upper 60s to lower 70s with plenty of sun.

Dry conditions are in the forecast Sunday, as we warm back into the upper 70s. We’re into the lower 80s Monday and Tuesday, with another front sliding in by Wednesday.

Very poor surfing conditions take us into the upcoming weekend, with a small east to east-southeast swell and wave heights of only around one to two feet.

The rip current threat is expected to stay low, but if you’re planning a swim, be prepared for sea surface temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.

Grab sunscreen because our sun is still pretty intense.
